By registering your animal shelter or rescue organization with WeRescue, a product of Pet Ventures, LLC (a Delaware limited liability company), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or use our platform.

2. Eligibility

To register with WeRescue, you must:

• Be a legitimate animal shelter, rescue organization, or sanctuary
• Be authorized to represent the organization you are registering
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Operate in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal animal welfare laws

3. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your registration information
• Notify WeRescue immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

4. Animal Listings and Information

When listing animals on WeRescue, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about each animal
• Update animal profiles promptly when their status changes
• Remove listings immediately when an animal is adopted, transferred, or no longer available
• Not misrepresent the health, temperament, or history of any animal
• Use only photographs of the actual animal being listed
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding animal placement and adoption

5. Content Standards

All content you post on WeRescue must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
• Not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not contain personal contact information of potential adopters without consent

6. Adoption Fees and Donations

WeRescue is a platform that connects shelters with potential adopters. We do not process adoption fees or donations directly. All financial transactions are between your organization and adopters/donors. You are responsible for:

• Clearly communicating your adoption fees and policies
• Processing all financial transactions in accordance with applicable laws
• Maintaining proper financial records
• Ensuring all donation links and wish lists are legitimate and current

7. Privacy and Data Protection

You agree to handle all personal information obtained through WeRescue in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This includes information about potential adopters, volunteers, and donors. You must:

• Use personal information only for legitimate shelter/rescue purposes
• Maintain appropriate security measures to protect personal data
• Not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent
• Comply with our Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection laws

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you post on WeRescue. However, by posting content, you grant WeRescue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. This includes:

• Animal photos and descriptions
• Organization information and logos
• Success stories and testimonials

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• List animals that are not actually available for adoption
• Use WeRescue for commercial breeding or selling purposes
• Discriminate against potential adopters based on protected characteristics
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users of the platform
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the platform
• Use automated systems to scrape or collect data from WeRescue
• Engage in any activity that could harm WeRescue's reputation or operations

10. Account Suspension and Termination

WeRescue reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any behavior that we determine to be harmful to animals, users, or the platform. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Limitation of Liability

WeRescue is a platform that facilitates connections between shelters and adopters. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of information posted by shelters
• The suitability of any animal for adoption
• Disputes between shelters and adopters
• Any injury, damage, or loss resulting from use of the platform
• The conduct of shelters, adopters, or other users

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WERESCUE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pet Ventures, LLC, WeRescue, and their respective officers, directors, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your violation of any law or regulation
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you post on WeRescue

13. Changes to Terms

WeRescue reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify registered organizations of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of WeRescue shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pet Ventures, LLC regarding your use of the WeRescue platform.
